Problems with Waste

It’s quite difficult to control the quality of beef.
If a block of meat is not used up within a week of purchase, the remainder has to be discarded.
And the beef goes bad more quickly after slicing, so waste used to be a problem.
It’s also difficult to control the quality of kimchi because it gets sour when oxidized.
It was difficult to manage, so the quality control was quite challenging.

After beginning to use DEPAK, we were first surprised at the change in the beef tongue.
Beef tongue is especially difficult to preserve. It normally gets hard and smelly with a lot of drip loss soon after thawing, so it has to be discarded within one or two days.

However, after preserving it in DEPAK after thawing for a week, we sliced and tasted it.
Then, surprisingly, there was no damage or rotting, and it was so tender that even elderly people could eat it easily.
It stayed delicious even three days after slicing.

We were glad that it not only lasted longer, but also it got more tender and flavorful.

Because of DEPAK, blocks of meat can be preserved for more than two weeks, and sliced meat also can be preserved in good condition for three to five days. So waste was almost eliminated.
We were surprised that DEPAK works not only for meat but also for vegetables.
Kimchi can be preserved in a good condition without getting sour for about a week.
Other leafy vegetables such as spinach, lettuce, and mustard greens can stay fresh for about five days, which is quite helpful.
